Our Newest Hat Design

Our newest hat for knitters is just about ready to hit the shelves in our shop. We're finalizing the pattern name and doing some graphic tweaking this week. Here's a photo of some of the samples that we've knit for this design.

This is a "not your average stocking cap look" hat. As a matter of fact, it has a Gatsbyesque, almost flirtaceous look to it. The design is easy to knit, usually with one skein of yarn, and can be whipped up fairly quickly.

Only in a Small Town

Ah, yes, the joy of living in a small town. Here's Samantha Stafford who works at the cafe across the street from the shop. She was named the Bay Port Fish Sandwich queen at the Fish Sandwich Festival in early August. Samantha stopped by Main Street Cafe to greet her breakfast customers before the big parade and you can see from the smiles how proud these folks are of this lovely young lady!
