Block for New Book
Here's one of the blocks that we might use for our Cheddar project in our next quilting book! I use my cellphone's camera to photograph and evaluate the color and layout of blocks as we develop designs. The fabrics down the diagonal center are the Daiwabo wovens that we use in our kits. Look here for more about these great Japanese fabrics.

Daiwabo Fabrics are HERE!
The Daiwabo Japanese fabrics that we ordered at Spring Quilt Market are here and they are flying out of the shop. We're cutting this fabric into kits for our miniature runner. Many of you have seen this sample and want to make one for your home. Daiwabo is subtle fabric -- some woven, some prints -- in shades of browns and taupes. Think of throwing soft, soft teal and apricot and lavendar into the soft play of brown and taupe and you'll have an idea of what these fabrics look like.
Stop by soon to see the bolts and pick out your Daiwabo!
